You might be a student, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make money. There are plenty of ways to start making some cash while in school, whether it’s through working at a bar or taking part time jobs on campus. Here are some ideas:

  1. Start a YouTube Channel
  • Create your channel account

If you’re looking to start a YouTube channel, here are some steps to take:

Choose a name for your channel (optional). This can be anything but we recommend something simple and short like “How To” or “DIY Tips.”

Create an account on YouTube and log into your account at https://www.youtube.com/user/YourUsernameHere (make sure it’s unique!).

If you already have an existing email address linked with this username, then don’t worry about creating another one—just enter it into the field labeled “Email” above where it says “Remember Me?”

Otherwise enter whatever email address from which all future notifications will be sent by Youtube if they’re needed; we recommend using Google Apps because it saves time when signing up for new services such as web hosting providers etcetera…

  • But how do you make money?

Now, how do you make money from YouTube? Well, the best way to make money off YouTube is creating unique, quality content that people would be interested in, and watch. Doesn’t matter what it’s about, whether traveling, cooking or reviewing products.

The good thing about YouTube is that it has a clear monetization option, and if you’re receiving views, you’re going to make money too.

Keep in mind – quality and persistence does the trick!

  1. Create a Website that Generates Revenue

Creating a website is not the most difficult thing you can do. You can create one from home, with a web designer and some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Nowadays, you don’t even need to know a single code, just create on via WordPress, or use any website builder’s drag and drop functions.

If you want to make money from your website, there are many different ways that people can pay for their content online:

  • Subscription based websites (such as Spotify)
  • Affiliate programs (eBooks, courses etc.)
  • Advertisements, mainly through Google Adsense.
  1. Sell Photos Online

Selling photos online is a great way to make money. You can sell your photos to stock photo websites or online marketplaces, and you can also sell them on your own website. If you want to sell directly to businesses or organizations, there are several options available!

  • Stock Photo Sites: These companies pay artists based on how many times the image is used in advertising campaigns. They usually offer higher fees than their competitors do because they have more leverage over the images’ distribution channels (like billboards).
  • Online Marketplaces: These sites allow users from around the world who are looking for certain kinds of content—such as photographs—to easily find each other through an easy-to-use interface that provides recommendations based on preferences set by both parties involved in a transaction; this allows everyone involved with buying/selling goods (whether they’re consumers or producers) greater convenience while still maintaining control over their purchases
  1. Test Websites and Apps

If you’re looking to make some extra money while in school, test websites and apps. There are many ways to test websites and apps, but the easiest way is actually by making them yourself. If you have experience with coding or any other type of software engineering, it’s possible that your professors will allow you to do this during class time.

You can also look online at what others have done with their own projects before deciding whether or not it would be worth your time and effort as well—or whether there’s something better out there for someone like yourself who isn’t interested in writing code themselves but still wants something interesting enough without costing too much cash.

  1. Sell your Old Textbooks

One of the easiest ways to make money as a student is to sell your old textbooks. Many students find it difficult to afford the cost of new textbooks and often resort to selling their old ones online or at used bookstores. Go through the list of best websites to sell your textbooks to and choose the option that fits your needs the most.

You can also donate them directly to schools, charities and organizations like Goodwill or Salvation Army.

The best part about this option is that you’re not just making money—you’re also helping out people who need it more than yourself!

  1. Get a Part-time Job

If you’re looking for a part-time job, it’s important to find something that fits your skill set. That way, you can use your time wisely and create value for yourself and others. Here are some tips:

  • Look around online or at the library for job postings. You can also check out newspaper ads in your local area if there aren’t any available online yet.
  • Ask around with friends who have had experience working in the field before—they may know of someone who would be interested in hiring someone like yourself!
  1. Sell your clothes

If you’re a college student and want to make some extra cash, one option is to sell your clothing on eBay, Poshmark, Depop or ThredUp. However—and this is important—this can be complicated if you don’t know how it works. Here’s what we recommend:

Sell used clothes at a consignment store. You should ask around your campus if there are any consignment shops nearby that take in used clothing for donation or resell it online through one of these sites (or both).

If not: Contact an alumni organization like Rho Kappa Tau or Phi Beta Lambda who might be willing to donate their used items from graduating classes; look up local thrift stores in the area; consider selling these items yourself by dropping off at an event somewhere near campus (such as a charity drive) where other students will then buy them!

  1. Become a bartender/server

If you’re a student and love to drink, bartending is the perfect job for you. You’ll get to meet new people and make some extra cash while doing it!

  • Get a job as a barista at a restaurant that serves alcohol.
  • Serve food too! If your restaurant doesn’t have any waiters or waitresses on staff, you can still get behind the bar and make money by serving drinks or food to customers who come in for meals. Just be careful not to overdo it—you don’t want people getting sick from all those cold drinks and appetizers!

Conclusion

You’ve got to have a plan, and most importantly, you need to be disciplined about sticking with it. You can start making money as a student in just one month if you put your mind to it. Good luck!
