The best thing in any T20 league is the long sixes that anyone can enjoy. Even if your opponent is hitting sixes, you will enjoy watching them because this is the beauty of T20 Cricket. This format is not easy for the bowlers as boundaries are short and because of limited no. of overs, batsmen always try to go after the bowlers. But when bowlers start giving extra runs while bowling, the situation becomes more difficult for the bowling side.

Most Extras in an Innings
On the top 10 list of most extra runs in PSL, Karachi Kings is the worst side. Out of 10, they are the 6 times on the list that means in 6 different matches they gave the most extra runs in PSL matches.
PZ vs IU
A match was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United on 1st March 2019. Islamabad United batted first and they were all out in 20 overs for 176 runs.
When Peshawar Zalmi started its innings, all the batters played well but the bowlers of IU played even better for Peshawar Zalmi. They provided 23 extra runs to Peshawar Zalmi that helped them to chase down the target on the last ball of the match.
In the 23 runs, there were 5 byes, 7 leg byes, 9 wide balls and 2 no balls.
MS vs KK
A match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans was played on 27th Feb 2021. In this match the best bowler of Karachi Kings, Mohammad Amir bowled 7 wide balls.
As a whole, the Karachi Kings bowlers provided 22 extra runs which are the second most extra runs in any PSL innings. In these 22 runs, 8 balls were side, 1 was no ball, 9 leg byes and 4 byes.
Multan Sultans scored 195 runs in 20 overs with the help of these 22 extra runs.
Karachi Kings won the match because of the brilliant innings of Captain Babar Azam. 90 runs on 60 balls, was one of the best innings of Babar Azam PSL career. This inning is still the highest runs of Babar Azam in any PSL match.
QG vs KK
On 10th March 2019, Quetta Gladiators won the toss against Karachi Kings and they elected to field first. Karachi Kings set a total of 190 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
During bowling, once again the bowlers of Karachi Kings leaked a lot of extra runs. This time they provided 21 extra runs that helped Queta Gladiators to reach a total of 189 runs.
Though, somehow Karachi Kings managed to win the match but their 21 extra runs could be very expensive if they fail to get Ahmed Shahzad who was playing on 99, Anwar Ali and Captain Sarfraz Ahmad in the last over.
IU vs KK
Once again, the bowlers of Karachi Kings were not able to stop giving extra runs. Karachi Kings batted well and set a total of 190 runs on 14th June 2021.
Islamabad United started the batting and they played very well and chased the target in 2nd last over. It could become difficult to chase for Islamabad United if the bowlers wouldn’t leak 19 precious runs as extra runs. This is the 4th most extra runs in PSL innings. But this time Karachi couldn’t win the match.
In these 19 extra runs, 12 balls were side, 1 was no ball, and 6 were leg byes.
LQ vs KK
On March 11, 2018, the biggest rivalry of the Pakistan Super League was on the ground. Lahore Qalandars had won the toss and elected to field first. Karachi Kings set a total of 163 runs in a limited 20 overs.
That match was very thrilling and full of suspense as Lahore Qalandars was only able to make 163 runs in the allotted overs that mean the match was a tie. Karachi could easily win this match if their bowlers could stop leaking the extra runs.
19 runs were given as extra runs in this innings that helped Lahore to level the store. On super over, Lahore won the match easily.
