Fashion Nova, one of the world’s leading fashion brands, has been at the forefront in campaigning for diversity and inclusion. The leading fashion and lifestyle company has been participating in charitable programs, including support to minority groups like the LGBTQ+ community.

As a result of their support for diversity and inclusion, the fashion company celebrating Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day in March 2021, during which time they supported Black Trans Femme Artists (BTFA) collective. This support came as a result of the “Women on Top” initiative. The program was under Fashion Nova Cares, the brand’s philanthropic umbrella.

In a statement, Richard Saghian, the founder and CEO of Fashion Nova, affirmed the e-commerce fashion retailer’s commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting women.

“At Fashion Nova, women empowerment and ongoing advocacy for diversity and inclusion have always been part of our guiding principles,” he said.

“Woman on Top” is a female empowerment program that Fashion Nova, in conjunction with a popular rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, founded to support women in education and career. The initiative offers grants, scholarships, and donations to women in colleges, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

In a press release statement, Meghan Thee Stallion expressed her delight in being part of the initiative.

“I’m excited to collaborate with Fashion Nova Cares on the Woman on Top initiative and be part of giving one million dollars to support women-led businesses and organizations. These donations are life-changing and will help women of all ages get one step closer to making their dreams a reality,” said Megan.

Black Trans Femme Artists (BTFA) collective, being one of the recipients of the “Women on Top’ initiative’s donation, received a whopping $25,000. BTFA is a community-based arts organization that focuses on the production and preservation of art by Black Femmes. The association also offers its members the necessary support and resources to thrive.

BTFA received the $25,000 donation from Fashion Nova Cares and Megan Thee Stallion to support its mandate of creating equal opportunities for marginalized groups. In a Facebook post, Nova affirmed its support to the organization, acknowledging that not all women have equal access to opportunities to create meaningful art.

Fashion Nova also exhibited its support to the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month in June 2021. The leading fashion retailer appreciated its LGBTQ+ customers and members by participating in the celebration.

Fashion Nova produced rainbow-themed apparel and offered crazy sales for the Pride Collection to appreciate its customers. Videos promoting LGBTQ influencers offered educational tips for viewers and celebrated their identity.

The participants had fun and learned some makeup tips. Jose Jimenez, the fashion brand’s makeup enthusiast, stole the show by showcasing her prowess in makeup. Jose created a splendid pride-themed look using Maven beauty products.

In this pride-themed game, the participants had to guess what was inside the box. Well, it was so much fun as their answers were quite hilarious! They enjoyed every bit of it and felt appreciated.
